Not sure if it's worth the high price... But that particular Absinthe is quite rare and it's supposed to be the closest to the historical Absinthe from 100 years ago. And I was excited that they were importing it here in Japan, so I was thinking about actually buying it. :-o Even though it's probably silly/outrageous/etc.
Oh yeah, and the other thing... since you only use about 50mL of absinthe for one drink, it lasts a long time. You put a little absinthe in the glass and mix it with 5 parts water.
So with a 700mL bottle, you can make maybe 10 - 14 drinks! ^o^
